Henry Allan “Harry” Ironside (October 14, 1876 – January 15, 1951) was a Canadian–American preacher, theologian, and author who pastored Moody Church, Chicago, from 1929 to 1948. Despite limited formal education, Ironside was a prolific Christian writer, publishing more than a hundred books, booklets, and pamphlets, many of which are still in print in the 21st century and which popularize the dispensational theology of the Scofield Reference Bible. A residence hall on the BJU campus is named in honor of this friend of Bob Jones Sr.
